John Wick is the main protagonist on the John Wick films.
He was portrayed by Keanu Reeves.
What Makes Him an Action Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: He is shown to be a very honorable man, as well as heroic. Whenever one of his friends are in danger or need assistance he will stop at nothing to pay them respects, whether it be avenging Marcus or honoring Koji's wish for John to escape safely. John of course also does the right thing when not only risking his life for his freedom but Caine and Caine's daughter's freedom, by killing the Marquis in such a manner which ensured that John was free and Caine was too, and able to visit his daughter.
- Courageous: He never falters when in a fight and will show know fear even when things are going south.
- Athletic: He has mad skills of mixed martial arts and gun tactics.
- Is a Capable Fighter: He was one of the top assassins before retiring.
- Intelligent: He knows where organs are located in the human body, which every assassin should know.
- Confident: He doesn't falter in his beliefs and when he approached several places that had people looking to perhaps betray him he still approached knowing the risk.
- Determined: He is extremely determined in his goals. Such as avenging his wife's puppy by killing the young man who did it, and killing the other mobsters protecting the young man in order to get to him.
- Resilient: He takes a beating in each movie and still he gets back up to show them who's boss.
- Loyal: He shows lots of loyalty to his friends, like Koji and Caine. He is also loyal to his wife.
- Compassionate: He is rather compassionate and shows respect to his friends and feels guilty that he may get them in trouble just by talking to them.
- Proactive: Whenever he is attacked and dissolves the situation by killing as many people as possible, which usually works in his favor.
- Has a Strong Sense of Identity: He shows himself to be a good friend and husband, and he never backs down on this identity of a loving husband despite going back to killing.
- Wears a Jacket: John wears a black suit jacket.
- Is a Great Driver: John is quite proficient in controlling a number of vehicles.
